Frequently Asked Questions » September 28, 2008

Here are the answers to some frequently asked questions from over the weekend:

    Internet Access

    1. West Point operates on a secure Department of Defense network that cannot be accessed without a username and password. Delegates will not have the credentials to access the network so the only internet access they will be able to have is limited time on a “guest” computer in our library. They will not have any access to wireless.

    Roundtable Assignments

    2. Roundtable assignments will not be issued until registration is closed and all information has been processed. This should be the second or third week in October.

    Sleeping Accomodations

    3. Delegates do not need to make arrangements for accommodations during their stay at the academy. Arrangements will be made for them at no additional cost.

Welcome Message » May 5, 2008

    Dear Visitor,

Welcome to the home of SCUSA 60. SCUSA is a four day conference held at the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York. The structure of the conference is designed to provide a premiere educational experience for the student delegates where they have the opportunity to interact both individually and in group settings with foreign policy experts and to learn from each other. The goal is that when delegates depart West Point, they do so with a greater understanding of the complexities surrounding foreign policy development.

Historically the theme of the conference concentrates on an international issue which pertains not only to the United States but also the international community as a whole. SCUSA 60 will be no different. The theme for SCUSA 60 will be "SCUSA at 60: Measuring Progress and Defining New Challenges."

SCUSA 60 is scheduled for 5-8 November, 2008 at the United States Military Academy at West Point.

The entire SCUSA staff looks forward to welcoming you to our conference. Check back often for updates!

    Respectfully,

    Cadet Ashley Rowland
    Commander, SCUSA 60
