The Mathematics Center for Faculty Development (CFD) sponsors seminars on teaching, curriculum, research, service, and developmental issues. These seminars both empower and develop the faculty. The seminar is coordinated by the CFD Director, and includes invited speakers (from outside the Department), presentations by the Mathematical Sciences faculty, discussions, and other activities. The CFD builds on the recognized strengths of the Department of Mathematical Sciences to help develop all faculty. The Director of the Mathematical Sciences Center for Faculty Development is PROF Brian Winkel
