CFD Hosts Lecture on Enigma

On Thursday, April 5, 2001, the Mathematical Science Center for Faculty Development hosted Dr. Cipher Deavours.  His presentation was on the WWII era cryptographic machine Enigma.  The talk was greatly enhanced by the presence of an actual Enigma machine that he has restored to operation.

You can view the Enigma presentation in PowerPoint (.ppt) format.

Here are some pictures of the Enigma cryptographic machine, associated machinery, and people.
