SCUSA 59

What is SCUSA?

The Student Conference on US Affairs (SCUSA) is a four day conference that brings together hundreds of students and dozens of scholars and policy experts from the United States and abroad.  It is the largest conference of its kind, and is now in its 59th year.  Delegates to the conference participate in round tables that examine a full range of foreign policy issues and problems that are of concern to the United States.  After thoughtful debate, the delegates craft a brief paper that contains proposals for U.S. foreign policy.  Each of the 16 roundtables is guided by two senior co-chairs who are experts in the regional or functional areas under discussion.
